Free to use, for information, with no warranty of fitness.

SnapRatios provides mathematical calculations relating to ratios and proportions. It is offered free of charge, for informational purposes, without any warranty of fitness for a particular use.

2.Acceptable use and your responsibility

You choose the inputs and the interpretation, and you check the result.

You are responsible for the values you enter, for choosing the interpretation that matches your situation, and for verifying results before acting on them — particularly where safety, health, cost or regulatory compliance is involved.

3.Accuracy

We calculate carefully and document the method, but guarantee nothing.

We take care to calculate correctly and describe our method openly, but we do not guarantee that results are free of error or suitable for any specific purpose.

4.Availability

The site is provided as it is, when it is available.

The site is offered free of charge and may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn at any time. No level of availability is promised.

5.Limitation of liability

Use of the site is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site.

6.Intellectual property

The site is ours; the mathematics is nobody's.

The text, layout, design and code of this site belong to us. Mathematical facts and the results a calculator produces from your own numbers are not claimed as our property — you are free to use those results. Please do not copy substantial parts of the written pages or reproduce the site as your own.

7.Acceptable use

Use it as a calculator and reference; do not attack or overload it.

8.Third-party services and links

We are not responsible for sites we link to.

Where a page links to an external site, that site is outside our control and has its own terms and privacy practices. The site is delivered through a hosting provider whose infrastructure is likewise outside our control.

9.Disclaimer of warranties

Provided as is, without warranties.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. See the disclaimer for what the calculators can and cannot tell you.

10.Access restrictions

Access can be limited where use is abusive.

We may restrict or block access where use is abusive, unlawful or places an unreasonable load on the site. No account exists, so there is nothing to terminate beyond access itself.

11.Governing law

Norwegian law, with mandatory consumer protections preserved.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you use the site as a consumer, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory rules that apply where you live.

12.Severability and entire agreement

One invalid clause does not sink the rest.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. Together with the privacy policy and the disclaimer, these terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the site.
