Mixing Ratio Calculator

Enter a mixing ratio and whichever quantity you already know — the batch total, or one component.

Exact result

600 ml Part A · 150 ml Part B

5 total parts · 1 part = 150 ml · batch 750 ml

Part A — 600 mlPart B — 150 ml

Working

  1. Add the ratio parts: 5 total parts.
  2. One part = 750 ÷ 5 = 150 ml.
  3. Part A = 150 × ratio part = 600 ml.
  4. Part B = 150 × ratio part = 150 ml.
A ratio given by volume is not automatically the same ratio by weight. Measure with the basis the product instructions specify.

Parts, not halves

A 4:1 mixing ratio means five total parts: four of the first component and one of the second. For a 750 ml batch, one part is 150 ml, so you need 600 ml and 150 ml. If instead you know you have 600 ml of the first component, the same arithmetic runs backwards to size the whole batch.
